About Michelle

Life, for all of us, can be really hard and painful at times. It can sometimes feel overwhelming.

My approach as a therapist reflects my understanding of the world: that during difficult times we all need some time and understanding to reflect on all that is happening around us. Counselling can help guide you towards a place of self acceptance which can be transformational.

I am qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist (BACP accredited course) and have been fortunate to work for several years supporting people in the voluntary sector. I'm 33 years old and married. I trained in the Person-Centred school because I believe that a relationship with someone who is warm, understanding and genuine can make all the difference. I've seen clients blossom and find my work incredibly inspiring.

I am based in Edinburgh and also have another business called Life Planning, which helps people to (re)discover the life they want. It differs to counselling, and is an alternative to Life Coaching.

I am warm and don't hide behind a strict model, but aim to be myself and be with you, as you are, when times are hard.
